- Strong understanding of the technical specification, estimation, cost analysis, and BOQ.
- Capable of compiling quantities/ estimates on spreadsheets and have knowledge of site surveys, execution and methods.
- Good project background and proven technical writing ability.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor in MEP and Fit-Out projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or MEP Quantity Survey.
- Minimum 5 years work experience in Qatar with good knowledge and understanding of local authority regulations, guidelines, and contracts.
- UPDA / MMUP Registration is Mandatory
- Must have experience in Pre & Post Tenders, and Tender Estimation.

Roles And Responsibility
- Prepare and manage, as necessary, the whole contracting process in compliance with COMPANY procedures and with due respect to approved schedule and milestones under the supervision on COMPANY C&P EPL Head. This includes:
- Preparation to the validation of the contracts strategy through:
- Arranging and attending COMPANY's Contract Committee and COMPANY's shareholder Contract committee
- Pre-qualifying bidders

Planning Engineer-Female-2 No (CODE: GCSPE-HO-F-01)
The job holder is responsible for all the scheduling, planning, progress measurement and reporting activities of the assigned Projects. The role will hold but not be limited to the following responsibilities: -
- Ensure all planning requirements put in place by the contractor shall be in line with overall Project objectives and comply with company specifications
- Maintaining schedules at the Project level, with critical path analysis and potential clashes and proposal of remedial actions/solutions.
- Provide planning and scheduling input for cost forecasting, for reporting purposes together with analysis of reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc., as well as for periodic presentations to all parties involved
- Ensuring availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation
- Participate in planning reviews and technical audits on scheduling & progress reporting as required
- Active participation in the development of the Project integrated project schedule, supervision of scheduling and progress measurement activities during the Execution phase
- Preparation, development of Planning Exhibit’s and coordination procedures for Call for Tender, and Project execution phase
- Perform Critical path analyses (CPA) and propose mitigations as required.
- Creating Ad-hoc schedules, scenario planning, suitable progress reports/analyses for supporting management requirements
- Supporting in Risk and Opportunities Management process execution in Projects environment and work as a dedicated risk focal in an assigned Projects.
- Participate in Integrated Operations Planning (IOP) and corporate planning meetings and represent Major Projects for all Planning subjects
- Assisting, taking the initiative in developing internal, external Planning framework procedures and actively looking for areas for improvements
- Active participation/ work as a focal in preparation and execution of Project schedule Risk analyses methodology and schedule risk analyses
Requirements:
Must have 10+ years of Relevant experience in Qatar.
-Must have previously worked in Buildings and Infra Projects.
-Must have a solid experience working in an Engineering consultancy. (Mandatory)
-UPDA / MMUP Registration is Mandatory
-Bachelors in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Preferred
